Hoza Dance Troupe

The Hoza Dance Troupe started as part of the Sports for Peace Project in the Peace Academy Program as a leisure activity for young women and girls to keep their home culture alive. Today, it all of that and more: led by a successful former mentee, the Hoza Dance Troupe is comprised of talented young women who enjoy dancing as their therapeutic outlet. Everyone is welcome to come dance at the rehearsals; those who stand out as the best dancers perform at events.

Performances have taken place at weddings and cultural events across the Midwest, as well as with African superstars like Cecile Kayirebwa and Kitoko.
